HTML5


HTML5 entities are used to display "special" characters in HTML5, which are characters that: 1. can be misinterpreted as HTML markup, 2. invisible characters such as non-breaking spaces, and 3. other characters that are difficult to type with a standard keyboard. HTML5 entities can be referenced by name or number, in either decimal or hexadecimal notation. Each is shown in the table below, and can be copied by clicking on the desired entity.
